RfD nomination of Bombay riots[change source]

An editor has requested deletion of Bombay riots, a page you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2023/Bombay riots and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Hi Yottie, Many thanks for readding the AFD tag[1] - I personally don't bother readding them back as it means having more deleted contributions to your name[2] (ofcourse you're going to have one deleted contrib per every CSD/AFD but reverting these morons means your deleted-contribs number will rack up),

Not sure if you've ever thought of that or even care to be honest lol, I guess I just see it as a battle not worth winning when in the end the page will be deleted and all's you've gained from it is 5-50 deleted contributions which soon mount up if you're reverting these idiots across various articles,

Sorry not lecturing you you're free to revert and edit as you like but just thought I'd give a heads up re deleted contribs :), Thank you for your efforts and help with these vandals, your help is always much appreciated, Have a great day, Many Thanks, Warm Regards, –Davey2010Talk 17:46, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Davey2010: Hi, No problem. I feel it's worth having on the page, as it tells other editors that there is a discussion ongoing about whether to keep the page. I'm not particularly fussed by edit count or deleted contributions to be honest. Happy editing! --Yottie =talk= 17:53, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's true to be fair, We're all different and that's a good thing - would be boring if we were all the same :), Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 17:59, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a bunch for catching that nonsense on Tim Richmond. I feel sometimes us editors on Simple Wikipedia have to spend too much time chasing down that sort of thing rather than working on articles. SurferSquall (talk) 21:22, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why Did You Use Rollback On Katyn massacre[change source]

Stuff like [3]. That user was making what seems like good-faith [[edits; rollback is only for obvious vandalism. Honestly they both seem kind of valid and this is more of a content dispute/edit war. Me Da Wikipedian (talk) 13:27, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Me Da Wikipedian: Hi, These edits are the work of a globally banned user. It's been going on for a number of years and is a routine revert, not an edit war as you suggest. --Yottie =talk= 14:53, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Who? I never said you were edit warring, just that whether to have the sentences read " Members of the NKVD killed nearly 22,000 Polish prisoners of war in a forest near Katyn, about 20 kilometres (12 mi) from Smolensk." or " Members of the NKVD killed about 22,000 Polish prisoners of war in a forest near Katyn, about 20 kilometres (12 mi) from Smolensk." is not a case of vandalism Me Da Wikipedian (talk) 14:56, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
