Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles is a 1994 American fantasy drama horror movie directed by Neil Jordan. It is about a vampire named Lestat who turns a plantation owner into a vampire. The movie is set in New Orleans during 1791, Paris in 1871 and San Francisco, California in 1988. The movie stars Tom Cruise, Stephen Rea, Antonio Banderas, Christian Slater and Kirsten Dunst.
The movie is based on the 1976 novel Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice.
