Talk:Organometallic chemistry
Suggested improvements[change source]
Hello Racepacket, the follow points are just suggested changes. They are probably not all correct changes and, although they may sound commanding, you don't have to do anything! DJDunsie (talk · changes) 08:04, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
- Change the red link bonds to bonds.
- If you can, put a small definition of inorganic chemistry and organic chemistry in brackets.
- In the Organometallic compounds section, put and explanation of organic ligands in brackets and link ligands.
- In the Coordination compounds with organic ligands section, remove the ligands link and link oxygen and nitrogen.
- In the Structure and properties section, change the covalent link to covalent.
- Remove the See also section as these are red links, which you can't really see! :). If you create the articles, add it back in but change the name to Other pages.
- Delete:
Compounds of carbon with other elements in the periodic table: [Template:ChemicalBondsToCarbon]] in the See also section too.
- Remove the red links in the References section.
- In the Other websites section, put a capital letter at the beginning of:
web listing of US chemists who specialize in organometallic chemistry
- Remove Template:Organometallics in the Other websites section too.
General points[change source]
- Consider adding more references for greater reliability.
- Consider adding more images to explain the points - you only have 1.
