@Darkfrog24, I've simplified the page, and now it's much simpler. I also ran a readability test, which gave a score of 68.6 and a grade level of 5.6 on the Flesch-Kincaid scale. Absolutely! ...the gizmo is still giving me mostly high school with some formulae giving it as low as eighth grade.

But the gizmo is the beginning, not the end. Let's see what my squishy brain has to say.

It's harder to identify specific places to make this simpler than it was on the other article I just looked at. You got a lot of the obvious ones already. There's no more low-hanging fruit for me to point to.

Instead of making a link on a difficult word, say what the difficult word means, like this: "The salamander is 22 mm long [[snout-vent length|from nose to rear end not counting the legs or tail]]." Darkfrog24 (talk) 00:38, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
