The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 was the twentieth edition of the contest. It take place at Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex, Yerevan, Armenia on 11 December 2022[1], Armenian broadcaster Public Television Company of Armenia (AMPTV) was the host broadcaster for the event[2]. The motto for the contest was "Spin the Magic".[3]

16 countries competed in the 2022 edition. Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Germany and Russia was absent from the contest.
