1971 Turkish military memorandum

The 1971 Turkish military memorandum, issued on 12 March that year, was the second military intervention to take place in the Republic of Turkey. With these event 32th Turkish Goverment with Süleyman Demirel’s leadership has resign and important parts in 1961 constitution has been changed. With these event Turkish radical left revolt leader Deniz Gezmiş was executed.
