Annapurna Massif

Annapurna (Sanskrit, Nepali:अन्नपूर्णा) is a group of mountains in Nepal. It has one peak over 8,000 metres (26,000 ft), thirteen peaks over 7,000 metres (23,000 ft) and sixteen over 6,000 metres (20,000 ft).[1] The whole area comes under Annapurna Conservation Area. Annapurna I Main, the tenth tallest mountain in the world is a mountain of this group.
