) is a kind of money used in Myanmar. The symbol for it is K. One kyat is equal to 100 pya. 2200 kyats is almost equal to 1 US dollars as of the international index however as of 27 May 2024, 1 US dollars has crossed the threshold of 4000 kyats locally as the financial crisis extends into further depression.
